Red Roses
Long-stemmed and red
passion
he declares with a dozen, yet my eye also
delights
upon spying Forget Me Nots
recalls
his protection and care; thank my lucky stars
our life's
journey has been full of God's
blessings

Margaret, your poem is lovely ~~~ and full of love.
"our life's journey has been full of God's blessings" indeed. We should take note. You did well with form, fun writing, huh?

Oh, that's so nicely done, and what a lovely message – with the mini poem deepening the original.
Well done...a love poem !!
Well written Margaret. :)
What a sweet intimate moment shared with the reader.
Oh what a cool format!! I love both the full poem and the shorter "secret" one.
Long lasting love is a wonderful blessing.
You used the form in beauty.
