LOL.... I ink we can breathe in Zen, yes. Beautiful. As for coffee, I had to quit drinking it, I was drinking a 12 cup pot a day and then making more. So addicted, had to stop. So, went back to tea. But the old craving is creeping back again. Had a couple of Tim Horton's drive through coffee's this past week, boy are they good!~! That old devil called love again ;)
Lol!! You had me all, "ooo and ah," on the cascading light and sole song bird and breathing....coffee!!? I love it...coffee is my zen, too, Margaret...I totally get it! :)
Hah! Just imagine how one sees the goodness in life in a simple cup of coffee. Not many are blessed with this special talent and ability. No small wonder you're a great artist and photographer. Great, Marge!
hah! i was *just* finishing my zen poem, pondering the very zen-ness of my morning with kids drawing, reading poems, all over COFFEE. love this witty truthyness!
"Coffee"!! Fabulous, Margaret, and you're so right. I love coffee but it has begun to upset my stomach so I'm having to get my caffeine from tea and diet sodas, not the same thing at all. I love the aroma of coffee. You sure nailed this one. K
I love it! I am about to do that very thing and am wildly excited as I have coffee splash with a new flavor - caramel macchiato.. Whu-hoo! The photo you took with your iphone is astounding. Looking at it is Instant Zen!

Coffee can be a good alternative ;-)
Fair trade coffee would be a better alternative. :)
Can one breathe in zen?
I love that question, and the delicate touch you have used with every word in this poem. The picture is just stunning.

On my first cup (of tea) right now. k.

These two images connected--the coffee and the being in the Light of your pic--speaks my mind!
