These photos were taken when the temperature had dropped to about 58 degrees by 5:00 pm.
The image above is for the "Creative Exchange".
I think she should audition for the dog in "The Grinch".
My two oldest leave tomorrow for school... It has been so wonderful having them home. Their doggies always miss them so much too.

very pretty! laughed at the "max" from the grinch photo! the silhouette of the tree against the sunset is just AWESOME!!!
I keep going back to that second photo, lovely, I thought about going out today and taking a series of photo's of winter in our yard, we finally have snow, over two feet fell yesterday.
I enjoyed this little walk, Margaret. Nice photos, especially the one of the silhouetted tree against the blue/white sky.
We are a little above freezing in Canada (southern Ontario), which is very unusual for January. I would have loved a walk with my camera today, but Duty overtook desire. These photos are wonderful!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE your photography, Margaret. I'm sure I'll keep telling you that over and over again!
I know you adore having all your kids at home at one time. Success to the ones who are now off to school again.
Great photos. You've won the Versatile Blogger Award from me. Hop on by to claim your award.

Love them all, but the first one is my favorite. So beautiful!!
Wonderful photos...I love them all!!
Wonderful photos! I was just sitting here and thought of trying to find you on Facebook. Are you my sweet friend from our Ohio days in the early 90's??? We live in Italy at the moment. Email me at jane.yasenchak@gmail.com.
Thanks for sharing your walk, lovely photos!
Margaret, these are wonderful photographs, and I absolutely LOVE your little "Grinch!"
Thank you so very much for sharing with us this week at The Creative Exchange.
Have a great day!
lisa.
Terrific pics, Margaret! I, too, am baffled at the weather so far this winter. Not seeing snow everywhere is quite unusual for a Michigan winter, and while we may not be close to your 70 degrees, any time it stays above freezing in January for over a week is definitely note-worthy.
Beautiful :)
Thank you everyone (and Nora for the award). I try to not take my camera with my on every walk or, as you can see, not much exercising gets done. :)
