My daughter's silk painting (before it was "ironed") |
Possibilites
At her fingertips
a rainbow exits,
youthful exuberance
sprinkled like fairy dust
upon pristine avenues
yet untried and
still aglow
as her imagination
conquers all
unaware
she might fail;
her world
still magical.

In unawareness
chance of failure...
less and less.
Daughter-artist will travel far, my prediction. 24-hours...there are no more in any day.
Lovely stuff here.
PEACE!
Such a beautiful, simple way to tell of the naivety of someone who has not experienced life ~ and what a wonderful way to live!
What a beautiful silk painting! And a beautiful sentiment you've captured. If only that magic could stick around forever, untainted.
so your daughter did this silk painting..? awesome..and you found just the right beautiful words to underline it...
your daughter did a wonderful job on that silk painting... the beauty of your words matched. nice write
She is so talented, like her mom.
A magical share .. hope she will always see the possibilities ~
Oh, if that magic and innocence could last forever! Lovely thoughts expressed, Margaret.
Beautiful silk screen by your daughter!
"unaware she might fail; her world still magical."
Loved those lines. I think I'll think on her rainbows for a little bit :)
lovely painting, beautiful possibilities
you have expressed in words everything the painting says to me with its images. both are lovely and magical! ♥
the apple didn't fall far from the tree
"unaware
she might fail;
her world
still magical"
It's a sad day when the magic fades.
beautiful painting...your daughter has talent...and what a great poem to place under it!
Like mother, like daughter, definitely! You can be proud of this/her, as I'm sure you are.
