Bay View, Michigan - Cottage Walk 4

There are so many unique cottages at Bay View, Michigan.  It becomes a challenge to photograph each in an individual way.  I wish I had had more time to play around with this idea - but I will have next summer to try it again.

The following is not as in focus as it should be, but I also like the idea of trying to capture "details" more when I walk around next year.

Hi Margaret...
I just went back and caught up on your other walks.
Loved your tour!!!
Isn't Northern Michigan Paradise in the Summer?
Your Daughter is beautiful!
BTW...Wasn't the Black Cherries To Die For this year?
I must have went through 10 pounds myself!!!
Thanks for stopping by, you are so thoughtful...:-)

I love all those older houses but I'd hate to have to keep them painted.....I get the jeebies just thinking about getting up there with a pail and a brush!

I think I would call in the painters on a house like this one. I do love to paint and have painted for the past 30 years. But there comes a time.
What a wonderful set of photos...

Texwisgirl, Linda & Janie2 - It is funny, but many of the cottages are done in pastels. Kind of reminds me of homes along the ocean and how they are painted in non-traditional colors. I see light pink, blue, green. I have a bright yellow one coming up soon.

G-Man - NOTHING prettier in the summer - and in the winter in its own way... Too bad Northern MI only gets about 3 weeks of perfect summer! My in-laws brought blueberries - we couldn't get enough of those. We tried to go cherry (or raspberry?) picking one day, but it rained. I was so eager to take photos and eat the jam she makes from them... We all pouted for about a week once we got back home to NC.... it is hard to leave MI in the summer...

I'm not familiar with Bay View, Margaret, but I can see why you plan to go back next year.
