Where is Margaret?
I have not been able to keep up with my favorite challenges nor visit my blog friends lately. I have forced myself away from the keyboard to spend time with the kids. This summer we have had fun swimming and leasing a pony and a bit of bike riding. This past week and probably next, I am busy looking at a variety of horses to buy for myself and my daughters. (within 150 mile radius) As I said, we have leased for a few months and now want to be proud owners of a horse of our own. I miss my poetry challenges immensely but hope to be back in the swing of things in a week or so. I hope all of you are having a wonderful summer! I won't be uploading many photos here, but every once in a while I post a horse photo on my horse blog: Just Horses

Margaret, Good luck on finding the "perfect" horses for you and your daughters. I have wavered for a long time on whether to get a horse or not. We have 160 acres of fenced land with a 20 acre lake, 30 miles from our house--a perfect place. I would love to have a horse ( I think they are the most beautiful, noble looking animal of all),but I also know the work, time, and effort involved. I think it would be a wonderful Mother-Daughter activity though. I know you will spend many hours enjoying riding with your daughters when all is said and done. Happy horse hunting!!!! Mickie :)
I look forward to more of your beautiful horse photographs. Mickie
Good luck! Have fun!
good luck with this next big step! i hope you find the perfect horse or horses!
Seems as though you have been having a wonderful special time... love the horse pics, so just keep them coming from time to time. Look forward to getting a glimpse of whatever one you find to share with the kids.
Such a beautiful photo..
Leasing a pony? Don't say that too loud; I don't want my daughter to know that such a thing is possible!
Thanks guys! I will not be posting, but I will be hoping around and visiting all you wonderfully creative people!
absolutely love this shot, you have a wonderful summer with your family!
I often have the same question, "Where is Margaret?" Margaret, you see, in the name of my wife, and most of the time she is with her horses. There was a bit of deja vu in this posting.
What a beautiful photograph Margaret!
I wish you the very best in your search for a horse.
So when your kids say they want a pony, you say YES!! You're one of a kind. I never heard of Rent a Pony!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this image, Margaret...so perfect for your text. Of course, sometimes you just have to choose! It's a no-brainer.
