The Mag #141, "Mindless"

Mindless

To  live without
is easier said than done,
for thirst is a raging beast.

Deny not my tempest kiss!

Quench this tumultuous lust,
which insists I get my fill
mindless of fury's aftermath.

So true, it isn't as easy to live without as one would hope. Your words definitely convey that.

Well composed to the prompt!

I like the imagery you have painted here--in no small way inspired by the recent weather, I presume?!! Well penned, Margaret!!
