Aspiration - "True Colors"

"True Colors"
The Sunday Creative has a new challenge word of the week:  Aspiration.  So with the above photo which was taken at Disney World's animal kingdom, I applied the word this way:  I aspire to show my true colors to the world and not hide behind the insecurities I have.  One benefit with aging is I find "being myself" becomes easier as the years accumulate and I am less concerned with what people think.

I love it. Both the picture and the thought!

I really love both your photograph and your interpretation! I'm with you it is amazing how much we accept ourselves for who we are as we grow older - it's very liberating!

I love this shot and how you have interpreted the prompt. I wish I didn't worry about what people think!

Great shot and subject for the prompt Margaret. Indeed what could we achieve if we felt comfortable in our true colours? Cherry XXX

Beautiful color and so-true sentiments. I wish I looked that good in pink. :)

I'll be singing that the rest of the evening, for sure, Margaret. :) I love the thought behind this image!

Everyone, thank you. I too, have been humming this song for the past couple of days. I guess it IS better than "Its a Small World After All"... I didn't even GO on that ride, just walked past it.

Lovely capture. True colors-I was not a Cyndy Loper fan, but that song speaks and would go well with your photo.
