The Mag #175, "Mirage"

Musin Yohan photographer
Mirage

Many an evening
many a horizon
tempts with turquoise tints

of misty waterfalls, teal seas,
coconut palms, dipping, swaying,
gentle waves beneath gossamer clouds,

shapeshifting above dirt tire tracks,
weary shoulders, bare feet
toward a mirage, ever trudging.

Though we try, we never quite reach that mirage. I'm liking the idea of finding something better than and above the "dirt tire tracks."

Beautiful..we head toward the mirage, never quite arriving, but still have the hope.

It's a sad life! They continue to vie for the good but it's a mirage that they don't even get. Great take Marge!

This is beautiful, Margaret. You brought that picture to life. Hey, I will still be around in various places in the blogosphere....you can always find me if you wish. Smiles.

This is SO beautiful:
"tempts with turquoise tints

of misty waterfalls, teal seas,
coconut palms, dipping, swaying,
gentle waves beneath gossamer clouds"...

such a fantastic juxtaposition with the word "trudging." There is always, always hope.

I know I would keep my weary shoulders and bare feet moving forward in hopes of reaching that mirage!

Wow that road to infinity, stairway to heaven.... You did it so well, thanks Margaret ...

Yes, it's mostly a lonely and narrow road resolutely trodden that takes us where we should be going.

nice...makes for a lovely bit of imagery...so at least the view is nice as we ever trudge on...

A mirage! What a wonderful idea. The artist in you has picked upon the palette of colours too. Well done.

This is just lovely, Margaret. Sometimes it's those turquoise and teal "mirages" that carry us through the harsher realities we of life. And keep us moving forward.
