IGWRT's - Open Link Monday "Renewal"

Renewal

Softly, Easter Sunday
settles, house quiet,
clothes ironed, starched,
clip-on tie for the youngest.
I know the struggle before me,
of renewal, of purity, of thankfulness;

know it isn't easy
for anyone to maintain,
let alone a five year old boy.

Posted for Imaginary Garden With Real Toads "Open Link Monday".   I thought I would be taking a vacation break, but hey, my girls will be bringing along their laptop... so, I am going to try for five minute "revelations".

It is impossible to get a clear image with this mover & shaker! ( I did get one, but
it somehow didn't capture who he is :)

Gorgeous, Margaret.
We're in for a treat this month if you will continue to dispense revelations.

This is wonderful, and I especially love the top photo, him looking at you, so seriously.......beautiful, Margaret. I remember when my boy, now 40, was that age, and the fun of Easter Sunday Easter egg hunts in the backyard! I have one photo of him slamming across the gardenbed on his stomach, like a baseball player into home base, to beat his sister to a chocolate egg!

He looks so smart, Margaret. And Easter is the perfect time for family togetherness. What a credit they are to you and your husband, these darlings of yours.

Surely the one with the puppy shows who he is?
I remember Easter Sunday when I was a child, the special clothing, including the starch.

a beautiful child, rightly understood

There's nothing better for a child than to know he is loved. It's obvious in these pictures and in your verse, your consideration for his age. Happy Easter! Amy

Nice, Margaret! I love the seriousness of the top photo. He reminds me of the little boy in Witness.

I'm grateful the Lord took care of my soul's purity to rest on his merits and not mine! A beautiful child! Thank you friend ~ Sincerely Debbie
