Haiku, "Wasted Potential"

Photo courtesy of Sean McCormick for "One Shoot Sunday"

Possibilities
Victim of low self-esteem
Wasted potential

My above haiku is for One Stop Poetry's "One Shoot Sunday".  The guest photographer is Sean McCormick.

The photos below are a part of my 365 Day Photographic Journey.  The morning light was not to my advantage, so I decided to turn them into b&w images.

Love that door hanging off there, they look great in black and white.

That first window is like a painting, Margaret. I know you paint...I hope you will paint it? And the second one in B&W...a window or a door...is so full of history. Don't you just wonder what stories it would tell!

Shewriting, Carol & Justine - Thank you - One Stop Poetry is one of my favorite sites for learning. Glad you liked my poem and photos!

Ginnie - Well, I try to paint. And that photo by Sean is remarkable. In my barn photo there is a huge hawk on the roof and while I was taking this picture, realized a number where circling in the sky. It was pretty amazing.

Low self-esteem is so debilitating, suffocating! Great little haiku! And love the variety of rough surface textures in the monochromes!

Greyscale - When I was young, I had low self esteem and you are right, it is debilitating. Thank you!
