Miraculous Faith
Aren't we all a bit like the snapped branch above? Life's struggles, curve balls and tragedies weighing us down, threatening to destroy us. But a light shines from afar and we slowly gather that strength, that warmth, inside us and overcome the "darkness" - or at least push the "darkness" back into it's corner. Faith will be challenged again; we just need to keep facing our mind and hearts towards the light.
The photo above is for "Patterns & Repetition in February" and my 365 Photographic Journey - a photo a day for a whole year. The above Haiku is for February's "Haiku Challenge" - the theme for today is "Faith".

I love that pine cone facing toward the light! Beautiful sentiment in your haiku!
Margaret, Such a nice post-the photos, hiaku, and your comment all connect and complement each other so well. Very inspiring and encouraging post. Thanks. Mickie
Bonnie, Izzy, Dutchbaby, Mickie - Really means a lot that you would tell me how much you like it. I just think how far I have come in a few months. Never have I written poetry and learning so much about HOW to look through my camera lens. Thank you.

Someone is Special
You're so right, Margaret. What a beautiful thought.
Ray, Lisa, Vicki, Trisha, Someone & Ginnie - Thank you. I remember at our church in Texas, sometimes it would be so overflowing, that the double doors would be flung wide open and some of the congregation had to sit outside for the Mass. I loved that, the flowers, the sky, the breeze... Just something about nature that centers me. I'm not sure I could live in a big city.
BEAUtiful photo!
