Haiku, "Life's Force", 133-134/365

Today this scene is lightly sprinkled with snow.  More snow for central North Carolina.  It melts fast and is beautiful and doesn't really get a chance to be "ugly".  But I was so looking forward to a "no snow" winter.  I was planning driving up to the Asheville area if I wanted snow, but no need for that!   These photos are for today and tomorrow's "Patterns & Repetition in February".

The photo below is the prompt for todays "Haiku Challenge" a haiku each day of February.

One moment longer
Life's force gathered close, cherished.

If only winter could look that beautiful where I live!

Mary Lou, Brian, Patty Ann & Kala - Thank you. Many people saw sadness in the painting. I think she looks relaxed. Maybe it is just me craving sleep. Winter here is a bit "lame" but I am enjoying very little snow. Today it was very fresh and smelled like leaves.

I especially like the line of monkey grass, Margaret...something I saw a lot of in Atlanta but haven't seen here in Holland.

Someone - thank you!

Ginnie - Yes, the fact that some things are still green and the wind is WARM is fantastic. I just can't believe this is February - all my life I have been buried in SNOW this time of year.
