Isn't the above every kids desire when they walk by it? But I remember when the gum balls were much cheaper than 25 cents! All of these photos are for "Partially Seen in January". I got to see my "partially seen" oldest son this weekend! He came home from school and it was very nice to have the whole family together! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I guess it is actually the end of Partially Seen and now the the new topic is "Patterns and Repetition". Should be interesting...
Is this what the guy below dreams about? The lion was taken at the North Carolina Zoo in Asheboro, NC. A FABULOUS zoo! I have entered the photo below in this week's "Creative Exchange". I have taken many photos of my sweet kitty - but it always makes me happy to see him snoozing away. Isn't he a cutie?

I just LOVE your partially-seen images, Margaret. You really do them so well. I especially like the gumball machine because we have the one I actually brought with me from America here in our apartment. It brings out the kid in me. I couldn't bear getting rid of it!

Lisa - This is a gumball machine in a restaurant. The way my kids beg for candy & gum, it wouldn't be wise to have one of these.

Margaret, I love the idea of "partially seen". I'll have to pop over there. The gumball machine reminds me of one that my kids' swimming teachers used. After their lesson, the kids each got a penny to "buy" jelly-bellies from the dispenser. The pennies were always a bit verdgris, corroded from the chlorinated water.
Aww...sweet shot of a little darling. I too love seeing the thoroughly contented look of our cats asleep in the warm. ...Makes *me* feel happy. :)
I love taking pictures of my animals sleeping as well. They seem so peaceful. :)
