"Changing Seasons"

Changing Seasons

Chords strum,
memories uproot -
of hands held, hands empty,
laughter and tears

and when the first crocus unfurls
words melt into place,
vibrato'd, caressed
upon my golden guitar

and together
we turn toward the sun
and reach.

I love this turning towards the sun with a golden guitar. Beautious.

Ooh this is nice! Love the photos, too--the bright splashes of color are a welcome sight!

I can 'almost' see her, but I don't visualize. Wonderful!
She would be playing/singing at times with my alter ego friend (is there such a thing?), Emmy Lou Harris.
