I'm glad my instincts told me to follow the trail by sreeja harikrishan, who'd left a comment on my poem "Balance" and added me to her circle - so I found your page from the painting she did, inspired by your bold and beautiful photograph of the cherries. Your photographic eye and sense is incredibly delicate and brilliant. I have to admit, I fell in love with Oberon, too. Your poetry is wonderful, as well - your artistry is intelligent, pleasing to the eye, skillful and admirable - it appeals to everything I hold near and dear. This is part of the comment I left on sreeja harikrishan's painting:

When I was a child, the house we lived at for the longest time had, among other wondrous things, a pear tree and four cherry trees. Now, when I see cherries, I always think of this poem: "Every Day You Play" by Pablo Neruda with its remarkable ending lines:

"I want

to do with you what spring does with the cherry trees."

I subscribed to your blog and shall look forward to further explorations. Your Autumn photographs are fabulous - it's always been my favorite season and you've shown me why it is, once more. Thank you. Here's my blog link, should you have time and the inclination to visit.
