Happy Halloween 2011

What's for dinner tonight?  "Innards of course!

...and you've gotta love something about the traditional pumpkin face... I linked it to "The Creative Exchange" because my three year old son is so proud of what he "helped" create.

That is indeed a beauty. And I love the faceful of pumpkin innards.
Never cooked the stuff as i replaced it with squash for pies. I'm a culinary coward :-)

G-Man... No, no - That is my husband's "thing"... carving pumpkins every year. He did one of the headless horseman as well.... I'll have to get that and post it tomorrow.

But I did make KILLER pumpkin seeds this year. I separated them, boiled them and then let them dry 24 hours, sprinkled them with a bit of olive oil, salt, and garlic + secret herbs... :)

Now I'm off to answer the door for all the little hooligans wanting candy...

He should be mighty proud Margaret. This is wonderful, and congrats to hubby on the first one. That is really artistic!

Thank you so much for sharing today at The Creative Exchange.

Have a wonderful evening, and Happy Halloween to all of you.

Beautiful glowing faces! I wish I could carve, but my wrists are too weak now. It takes real arm power!
