And Off She Goes...

I really had fun with this portrait of my daughter. (she had her wisdom teeth pulled less than a week ago). She is very artistic and is off to school to learn everything she can about the visual arts.  Such an exciting time.

Gorgeous portraits, Margaret. Your light is fantastic. These are professional quality. She is a striking beauty, but you know that! What eyes.

Best to her from another mom who sent her daughter off to art school not so long ago.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments! They make my heart sing :) I am off early this morning getting things ready for my son who will be starting his freshman year in college at the same school as my daughter is the highschool Jr/Sr program. They will both be boarding there and will have each other to watch out for... that makes me feel great.

It is SO much work getting two off to school... and expensive! :)

I ADORE her too. She is like the sweetest girl I've ever known. She loves art, so I do. So we get along really good! I just ADORE your family all your kids are artist, but I could easily found why they are like this. your work is AMAZING. congrats!

After reading sister Ruth's comment, I thought the very same, as when she sent off her very creative daughter to school not too long ago. I have a feeling you're both equally proud of each other!
