Horses, horses, horses 85/365

I think the horse on the left is a remarkable looking fellow.  He (she - I never noticed!)  has one blue eye and might be qualified as a pie-bald horse - or maybe he has a bit too much black for that.  Either way, I enjoyed watching these two romp around and play.  What a treat to be able to go for a quick walk and have so many horses to view.  I will be posting a few more photos in the next few days of the horses at Stillwater Farm.  This is my 85th photo in my 365 day journey challenge. Awesome shots, Margaret. They remind me of two teenage boys showing off their good looks and prowess. I was amazed by the thick hair on the neck of the brown horse. They are both so different from what I've seen before.

Carol - I love your comparison! The thick hair is his winter coat and it has been needed. It is cute when the horses fuzz up almost like ponies. But it isn't fun to brush out come spring.

Years ago I watched two horses dance together out in the field, Margaret...romping around in unison, prancing, running, walking, hugging and kissing. It was amazing. I have a sequence of it somewhere on my site but I'm not sure if I can find it...no success thus far. But it was mesmerizing! Ahhh...I just found the sequence at my other site. Click on this link and then click 'next' till you see the sequence of 4 shots:
