IGWRT's Sunday Mini-Challenge - Doll's Revisitied "Nurture"

Nurture

Insecurities need a place to hide
in order to breathe, time to nuzzle
upon the breast, content,

baby step towards confidence.
A place where Brothers Grimm
are balanced with Mother Goose,

a nest where feathers soothe tremblings
and one learns falling is about rising
and true fear results from giving up.

  3. Most beautiful. So thought provoking.

Something to be said for that which provides our comfort....and our insecurity.

  4. You're so right, Margaret. The Brothers Grimm were really grim.
I agree with Green Speck re "falling is about rising" because it is oh, so true.

  5. This is beautiful, Margaret. I love how you have written poems for three of the dolls.

(PS, this doll's body closely resembles my 71-year old frame,
    oh my)

  6. Margaret, you are on a roll with these--each one I like more than the last. I almost chose this one, but couldn't find the right frame--yours is perfect.
