IGWRT's Sunday Mini Challenge - Dolls Revisited "The Shaping of Me"


The Shaping of Me

I'm drifting, undulating as life's waves
cleanse or erode, unsure which;

concentrate upon survival,
the tidewrack of introspection

reserved for the questionable future.
For now, I just hang on, vulnerable.

    I find this doll quite fascinating and the close-up gives more insight into its 'character'. I love the idea of a tidewrack of introspection. Very cool.

    This doll is especially mysterious, yet seems to have so many things to say, all unsaid. Those eyes! Your poem seems to give her even more depth and personality.
