dVerse - "Chartreuse"



Chartreuse

Youthful yearning
is sun-kissed green,

an unripe dream
waiting to bloom,

enthusiastic whisper
of burgeoning chartreuse

sprouting
fragile inexperience.

A bouquet of reverie,
ornamental ribbon

innocence encouraged,
nourished, protected.

Today this is linked with dVerse "It's not Easy Being Green, or is it?" I DID make some edits however, deleted words and rearranged the stanzas.  So perhaps it is new enough.

    as innocence should be...protected and nourished...smiles..there is a pent up energy in this as well like a seed...potential energy...a bouquet of reverie...i like that...
