Drooping falls of lavender
you planted in my flower bed
I would have preferred
passion yellow
but compliments and wisdom
do make a lovely bouquet.

i am rather fond of yellow myself...purple is my wifes fav color though...each bring joy to me so...have a great weekend margaret!

Checked on the Fresian baby too. He's grown since I looked a week or so ago :) He's napping right now.
I'll take compliments and wisdom. Passion yellow is lovely, but can lose its oomph if overdone.
ReplyDeleteI love the lavendar iris. I would take it over a yellow flower any day. (Perhaps because I have a dog named Violet, and lavendar is close to violet.)
