Photo Art Friday "Surprise"

This is my first, true success with layering a texture over one of my photos.  This is supposed to be easy peasy, but it took me quite a while to figure it out using Photoshop.  I wouldn't have been able to do it at all if I hadn't used Kim Klaussen Cafe's free ten minute class (took me over an hour, but that is ME, I am not the average person when it comes to computers...)

I used Kim Klassen's "more magic" texture and a photo I took of a rose at Biltmore Estate last spring.

I have linked this to Bonnie's "Pixel Dust Photo Art Friday".  The theme was supposed to be to interpret the word "surprise".  So, Bonnie, my surprise is that I finally DID IT.  I know this is very, very basic, but it IS a beginning.

  13. Absolutely stunning. It has taken me a number of online classes to finally figure out the Photoshop editing. Aren't Kim's classes wonderful? She really gives you quite a bit of information free and her "for fee" classes are excellent!
