All in a Day's Stroll, 104/365

The above photo is for Black & White Wednesdays and Weekend Reflections #69.  Our snow will most likely be gone by Friday and so I am enjoying it while it is here.  The photo below is for Partially Seen in January - it is part of some stonework on a water fountain.  I loved the contemporary feel of this.

  5. Love the stone photo, I actually see a horse at the bottom and a cougar's head on the rocks above him. Just my way of seeing things. Can you see them?

  6. Helen, Patty Ann, Love and Life - Good old black & white. It can capture a mood beautifully at times...and I love color. I think all the vertical lines are showcased here better this way. Thanks!

Carol. I saw the horse first thing after you pointed it out. And now I see the crouched tiger! How fun.

  7. What a wonderful winter scene Margaret, and I love the stonework shot! Should you run out of snow, just holler. 17 inches here overnight, and I am so very willing to share!

  9. Beautiful picture! I need to get outside more when it snows instead of hibernating...it's so beautiful when it snows, just really cold!

  10. Lisa, Allan, & Alicia - Thank you! The snow is rapidly disappearing. My tip for photographing in cold weather is to purchase gloves with mitten flap that leaves fingertips exposed = much easier to operate the camera. My hand was cold and numb taking photos the past few days.

  15. The monochrome image feels cold. Nice job. I like the straight verticals of the bare trees.

  17. The bottom photo could make a nice texture and the top one is a beautiful scene.

  18. Sylvia, John, Serendipity, J Bar & James - Thank you. We live near many little lakes and I love how it reflects the seasons. The winter trees do give this a wonderful diagonal, John - I think that is what attracted me to it - not so much the reflection! Thanks, James for the opportunity to "play".
